Please Pledge for Production!

With your $10 pledge, we will send you a precious prayer duck with Bible verse card as our thank you gift to you. The stock card is about 3.5" long x 2" wide and arrives with a tiny yellow duck to make you smile.  Each inspirational card is randomly selected and all sale proceeds will be applied toward the production of our waterer/feeder designed for ducklings and ducks. All sales, donations, investors, backers, and prayers are welcomed. We need all the support we can get and we thank you for your purchase.

Please note: the $10 also covers payment processing fees and shipping costs. We will be left with about $3 going toward actual production. If you would like to pay for the pledge without the prayer duck being shipped, that will help us to reach our goal faster. Just send a message to let us know.

November 2024.  Two tiny ducklings arrive in the mail from Metzer Farms. They are only one day old, chirping in such a way in that brown box that I mistakenly thought they were chicks.  Rosemary and Sage would be the first of my ducks and I loved them so much that they would not be the last. I never had ducks as pets and the most I'd seen them was at Highland Park in Guthrie, OK, where I grew up. I had to learn how to feed them, clean their brooder which was also my bathtub, and care for them as they're growing rapidly.  After 3 weeks and further reading about ducks, I learned how they are social creatures and that you need to have at least two.  I feared that something would happen to one of the ducklings so ended up ordering two more ducklings.

    Magpies:  Salt & Pepper

December 2024.  I'm welcoming the arrival of my Magpie ducks.  Pepper was so tiny and feeble that I thought she wouldn't survive.  She kept falling forward and I would push her up on her feet with a single finger.  She always made me laugh because she had black markings beneath her eyes and for some odd reason, reminded me of a boxer's eye blacking.  Pepper would thrive, as did Salt, and by February 2025, all ducklings were ready to go outside.

White Crested Ducks: Penelope & Primrose

March 2026.   Prototype of the Duck Egg Waterer / Feeder is just about complete. It needs to be tested so I attempted to order 2 more ducklings from Metzer Farms.  But they changed their policy and now required a minimum purchase of 3 ducklings.  So here comes:
